Combine the margarine, cinnamon, ginger and orange zest in a bowl. Use a small amount to grease a medium ovenproof dish , then spread the remaining margarine onto the bread. My daughter made it and it was gone in two days. This bread is so good, and easy to make! Thanks for the great recipe.
However, it whipped up like the best “meringue“ I’ve ever made. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt. Stir in oil, almond milk, flaxseed mixture, bananas, and vanilla. Thank you again for another awesome recipe. I just made 4 loaves because it was so easy and they will do well in the freezer! I added garlic chopped and chives to one loaf and cranberries to another the other 2 with seeds.
I also put some extra tapioca starch in a small bowl to dust my hands while shaping the bread. My friend was impressed and very touched, ate all the cooked ends portions and took the rest home to toast! Turns out she had also just come across your recipe and was keen to give it a go, as she’s found most bread recipes unsatisfactory. I was thrilled to find this whilst despairing of being able to bake bread for a young friend coming for lunch, who is allergic to gluten, eggs and dairy. I regularly bake sourdough but my starter is not gluten free, and every option looked pretty terrible. Hi Franky, I never tried this recipe with coconut flour.
Hi Karolina, so glad you loved the bread. Unfortunately spelt is a whole grain so it would not work for this recipe. Let me know if you experiment with it.
I have been trying different gluten-free bread recipes on and off for a few years now. We have family members that are CBD + THC Gummies vegan, and they sometimes come over to eat with us. So I really wanted to find a recipe that didn’t call for eggs.
I tried gluten free bread from other websites but none turned out well. I halved the measurements in your recipe mainly because I was scared it mightnot turn good and would be wasted . But I am so happy it was perfect and I am relieved I have a fool proof recipe. Now I can confidently make a whole batch.
Once the dough becomes too thick to mix with the spoon, work the dough with your hands. Knead – The dough should appear very shaggy, so kneading will bring it together. This can be done inside the bowl or on a flat surface, as long as the end result Les personnes âgées et les enfants peuvent-ils manger des oursons CBD ? is a smooth ball of dough. Work the dough, kneading in any dry pieces that may have collected at the bottom of the bowl. Continue kneading until it starts to form a large and smooth mass. Shape it into a ball and press two fingers into the surface.
I have to reduce the amount of water in order for it to come out right and not watery and mushy. I forgot to mention, when I replaced the garbanzo bean flour with oat flour the loaf was slightly bigger than the first loaf. I mixed a combination of different flours (but kept to the recipe amount of around 2.5 cups) without any issues. Trying to make a double batch, I noticed the psyllium amount doesn’t convert when using the website function (on mobile, haven’t tried on desktop).
Thank you so much for posting this awesome vegan gluten free, Corn free, milk, Nut, oil, and gum free bread! I’m extremely allergic to gluten and corn, dairy, eggs etc where I go into cardiac and respiratory distress. Your recipe came out awesome. I made a few adjustments though. I put 90g of buckwheat flour instead of 100g and used 100g of lentil flour instead of chickpea flour. I also reduced the sea salt to 1/4 tsp to better suit my needs.
You could replace it with 1 mashed banana, 1 cup of pumpkin puree, or a variety of other egg replacers. And, it really is the BEST egg free zucchini bread on the internet. Read the comments below to find out what others are saying about this AMAZING zucchini bread recipe.

LOL the xylitol was my choice, trying to remove sugars from my diet. I actually think I’d use a smidge more xylitol (or I’ll use stevia ) also cutting way back on carbs, so that’s where the almond flour comes in. Not sure how long ago you lived here in SD , but I’ve been gone for 6 1/2 years. It’s really crowded here now. Hit up Fasion Valley before Christmas, it was nuuuuts! Drove through Balboa Park on the way from the airport.
I will will explore it with sourdough starter. I followed the recipe exactly and even weighed, as opposed to measured, my ingredients. The ONLY substitution I made was arrowroot instead of tapioca. It was WAY to wet so I had to add way more flours than I would have thought necessary to get it as it was in the video. Maybe I just ultimately ended up adding to much flour, which I will try again. It was very dense with no bounce like shown.
(Please be careful while shaping and try to not press the dough too much, or the loaf will be dense.) Gently, smooth out the surface with damp hands. Then place the loaf on a piece of parchment paper and lift it into the pan. After kneading, shape and place the dough in your baking pan, but do it gently. Do not press or flatten the dough too much or you will end up with dense and dry bread. The dough will be very sticky and watery once the ingredients are mixed.
I can hardly wait to try this tomorrow and really enjoy! Due to allergen development, I’ve lost a lot of my favorite foods, and have slowly begub finding the alternatives I needed to make them. I did not strain enough the pumpkin then!
Plus, since pumpkin is naturally moist, you can easily bake pumpkin bread without needing to add extra fat. Thank you so much for spending time making this recipe. Today was my first attempt at gluten free vegan bread and I am so happy with how it turned out. I didn’t think there would be any way to make good bread without wheat or eggs. Today was also the fist time I’ve ever used aquafaba. I was pretty leery and didn’t think liquid from a can of beans would do anything.
So today, I substituted the chick pea with some other gluten free mix and the smell was gone. Psyllium husk powder is the most important ingredient in this recipe and cannot be subbed by any other ingredient. Make sure to use psyllium husk POWDER. If you have psyllium husk , you can blend it in a blender or electric spice/coffee grinder until it’s a fine powder. I love adding pumpkin seeds but you can also use sunflower seeds, sesame seeds or nuts of choice (e.g. hazelnuts, walnuts, cashews, almonds, etc). One day, I started experimenting with gluten-free pizza crust that contains psyllium husk powder.
If using the individual spices, adjust the measurement to suit your taste. Flour – Use just about any flour – spelt, white whole wheat, all-purpose, 1 to 1 GF flour blend. Whisk together all of the ingredients to form a glue-like consistency. If it’s too thin, and one tablespoon of sugar at a time until it’s there. If it’s too thick, do the same but with 1 tsp of milk at a time.
This recipe is going into my “go-to” favorites. I’ve just made this and I’m waiting for the 1st rise. In the future, I’ll double the recipe because this recipe as is, is too small for my 6qt mixer.

Then to the 1/4 cup of melted butter, mix in the 2 tbsp of brown sugar and 1/2 tsp vanilla. Begin Where can I buy Delta-10 gummies? to mix in the rest of the flour one cup at a time. Sprinkle in the fourth cup gradually, as you may not need all of it (I used about 3 1/2 cups total). The dough is ready when it no longer appears wet on the surface and it turns piecey and shaggy.
The only change I made was adding wild mushrooms, thyme and a bit of red pepper flakes. Yum yum! Will definitely be making this again. I left out about 3/4 cups of broth when pouring to the bread and that was good . Would you mind explaining why not baking powder?
This time around I realized I didn’t have aquafaba, so I substituted apple sauce and it still came out wonderful. Preheat the oven to 350°F/176°C. Arrange a rack in the middle or bottom third of the oven.
Whisk the dry ingredients; stir in the seltzer water and oil; and pour the batter into a parchment-lined baking pan. It will require about 3 minutes of your time. Looks amazing and I really want to try this recipe as pumpkin bread is my favorite ! I just haven’t been able to find a good recipe since going gluten free.

I used this variety of gluten-free flour from Bob’s Red Mill. Every home oven is different, and many are not calibrated, so temperatures can be inaccurate.
I followed the recipe to a T and changed nothing. I made this recipe but my mixture was thicker before adding in the aquafaba, even with water added. I baked it in a Bundt pan in my air fryer for about 40 minutes and it turned out decent. I maybe should have cooked it a little longer with foil for a less sticky inside, but it’s great with tatziki and with sun butter and jam.

Can’t thank you enough for mentoring my baking dreams with this recipe. I can’t wait to make another loaf. Please don’t compare this bread with wheat bread which contains gluten and yeast or a gluten-free bread which was made with eggs and yeast. It’s hard to make a gluten-free, yeast-free, vegan bread, but this is the best recipe I have tried so far, and it turns out amazing every time! Depending on the flour mixture, the bread might end up more fluffy or dense.

If it’s pure pumpkin purée then that’s fine. The first time I made this I went a little heavy on the ginger and cloves, it was still good but I knew I had to tone it down a little. Once I did the flavor balance of pumpkin and spices was just perfect.

It tastes sweet and yet savoury with a pronounced note of hoppy yeast. No GM, no chemicals used in the production of this aromatic yeast. We call this bread ‘Sourdough Style’ because it looks and tastes like the artisan loaves you buy in markets – except they are all made with wheat!
After successfully baking it in the oven I tried it in my breadmaker. And it turned out really well. This is a fantastic recipe. The original formula came out perfectly. I I have tried with sorghum, millet, tiger nut flours cooking 1 hr. 20 min at 350 F, it came out very nice, well cooked, soft and fluffy. Similarly teff, millet, tiger nut flour combination with same cooking time and temperature turned out great..
Just coming off whole30 and want to leave sugar out of my diet entirely. Is there a video of you preparing this? I have never made bread and don’t understand the instructions about kneading for “5 turns.” Thanks. Ate it with your 1 pot lentil recipe and quinoa. This was so easy and so good. My family had no idea it was vegan and ate it up.

And once made and cooled, a slice spread with a vegan butter is the best morning tea – or afternoon tea – or midnight snack …. No baking soda, no worries. It’s all about the bananas!
I just made this using buckwheat, lentil and chickpea flour. I also divided the dough into 6 and shaped them into buns that went with sausages tonight. It was a special treat for my grain-free kid and he thoroughly enjoyed them. The best gluten free vegan bread I have baked – good flavour, moist, fluffy….. My son can’t have gluten or eggs, as many other things, but these most often affects my ability to make nice bread.
Measure the banana correctly. If you have a food scale, then you can just weigh the peeled banana to get the correct amount. If you don’t have a scale then the best way to measure would be to mash the banana and measure it out in cups. This recipe uses 1 and ½ cups mashed banana or 337g.
Peel the bananas and place them into a large mixing bowl. Mash them well with a fork or potato masher. I’m Sarah McMinn, author and recipe developer here at My Darling Vegan. I am a classically trained chef and professional photographer.

Vegan banana breads are often too dense and heavy, but the aquafaba really helps lighten things up here. Overmixing causes the loaf to become dry instead of moist.
